10.03.23 Year 5 visit Herstmonceux Observatory

Year 5 had a wonderful trip to Herstmonceux Observatory this week to support our learning of Space and Forces. While there, we were able to control robot arms to pick up and move objects just like astronauts do on the ISS, investigate science through hands on activities and explore how the observatories work with the Thomson telescopes. We were also lucky enough to take part in an exciting science show where we saw hoverboards, rockets and thermal imagery in action!
