06.10.23 Spanish Day 2023!

Last week, the children were treated to a day of Spanish related activities in celebration of International Languages Day.  The classes paired up into teams across the key stages to show their courage in Spanish language, create ambitious artworks inspired by Picasso and Gaudi as well as learn about Spanish geography. The highlight for many was a Flamenco Workshop where the children worked with partners to focus on basic beats, timing and rhythm to take pride and master the traditional dance. It was a wonderful day and a great opportunity see such respectful and nurturing behaviour from our older children, with those in younger years. Well done Big Thinkers!
