30.01.24 Year 6 Lubaina Himid Inspired Artwork

Chestnut Class have begun their Lubaina Himid inspired artwork.  Lubaina is famous for her 2D sculpture installations.  Leading up to this stage, the children experimented with negative and positive space. They have now learned to enlarge an image by using a grid, as you can see in these photographs. Watch this space to see more of their art journey!
