10.01.25 Year 5 Space Topic

Elder class have had a great start to our Space topic by exploring, designing and then making space mobiles in the style of Alexander Calder, an American artist who is credited with inventing the mobile, a type of kinetic art that involves suspending forms that move with the air.  The children were immensely creative and learnt how to balance and attach the separate elements of their mobiles which are now proudly hanging in the classroom which you will be able to view when you visit for our 'Topic share' on 29th January.
